It really is.

This last week was mental, nay psychotic in what it asked of me. I'm just so happy it's done with.

The only drawings I did were in the breaks between my classes in my crappy notebook. For anyone interested, I'll be posting these drawings in my scrapbook. They aren't very refined, but will give you an idea of future paintings. (Spoilers... I guess...)

But anyways, I want to let you all know that I'm back to a more steady schedule, and hopefully there wont be any more hindrances regarding it.

Well, it's been about a week since I last updated anything and I feel obligated to at least tell all of you who are paying attention that I'm still here. Although paintings might be a bit scarce in the next few weeks as midterms are coming up. Sorry about that.

I actually had a burst of inspiration today and a painting should be out by tomorrow night. I hope you like the Beatles…

Also, if you have submitted an idea and I haven't painted it yet, I haven't forgotten about you; I just finished making a checklist of the ideas and now I'm organized. It should keep me on track.

While I wait...

1 min read
At the moment Im waiting for my recently completed recording to compile/export/whatever it's called, so I've decided that I should write a journal. For what it's worth.

Another question for the people who stumble upon this journal: Which styles do I use best, and which could I do without? (color to grayscale, use of patterns, slowly adding color from the start, etc.)

I normally like to change the order of operations depending on what I feel like doing. But It's difficult to determine which methods are being more effective and if I can/should replace them. I need another perspective, and that's where you can help me.

Do't be afraid to point out mistakes and such. If I don't take note of them, I can't improve.

-------------------
And as always; if you have an idea for a painting feel free to suggest it. I'll try to get around to every idea that I can. Same rules as before: no sexual/ excessively violent themes and all that jazz.

Firstly, I want to thank everyone for all of the wonderful comments. They are what motivate me to continue painting for this community.

That being said, I wont be replying to as many as I have before. For the sake of my sanity. I'll still reply to questions and really interesting comments, but nothing that is purely a complement. I really appreciate them, but aside from a "thank you" I can't think of what to say...

I wish I was better at words.

On a happy topic, all of the responses to my last journal were great! I have enough concepts to last me this coming week. Feel free to give more Idas! I'll check the comments now and again. Same rules as before.

if you want to see the doodles that I paint from, check out my scrapbook. I'll be posting the occasional sketch in there from now on.

Sweet Celestia frying pancakes! With that last painting being on EQD I've doubled in watchers and got more faves then I ever have before. I'm extremely flattered, thank you everyone!

I love this fan base.

Now then, with so many new people watching, I've decided to let you guys and girls choose the subject my next painting. Again. There is no way this will ever backfire….

There ARE rules, however. I gotta have somewhat reasonable standards:
-no violent or sexual themes
-needs to be pony related
-no gifs(yet): Flash is evil, I cannot control its unholy power.
-be as original as you can, it's more fun drawing something new

All you have to tell me is which pony(s) should be in the painting as well as where and what they will be doing. If need be, we can mix and match. After a day or two, I'll count the suggestions and get to work.

On another note, I've changed my signature; instead of a potato brush, its an actual signature. Look for that.

Sidenote: Just before writing this I accidentally deleted a correspondence message via miss-click, so to whoever it was from; I'm sorry. If you want, resend it. So professional.
